VtM 30 Day Challenge: Day Five – Favorite Dice Set

            My first set of dice was a set of Werewolf the Apocalypse dice purchased soon after I played in my first Vampire the Masquerade game.  I bought them because they were the only d10 set at the store that I went to, most likely a B. Dalton.  The cool thing about that set of dice was the addition of a die that had the phases of the moon on it, so a Storyteller could determine the phase of the moon for werewolves.  I’ve used that die a few times when I’ve had werewolves in the party, but it usually sits in the bag.  Maybe in the future I’ll use it more.  Sadly, I've lost many of the dice that were part of that set. 

            My current favorite dice, however, are a set of Chessex d10s (I think they are Chessex) that have ankhs instead of 1’s.  They are a great set for when I play Vampire the Masquerade, not to mention that they roll pretty well.  I know my players disliked them because I have a tendency to roll a lot of 10’s with them. 

            Here’s my entire dice collection.  It’s not epic, but there’s plenty of dice that I can switch between.  Also, I have enough dice to share with other players when they forget their dice which happens a lot more than you'd expect.   

            Here’s the set of dice I like to use for d20 games like Dungeons & Dragons. 

            Here are some dice that I no longer use because they are impossible to read.  I’ve used them some back when I played more D&D, but these days I prefer the blue set.
