30 Day Challenge

Starting tomorrow, October 1, I will begin the 30 Day Vampire the Masquerade Challenge; each day I will update this blog with a new article from a predetermined list of topics.  Readers of other blogs will be familiar with this challenge from the Dungeons & Dragons 30 Day Challenge and similar challenges.  The goal is to offer 30 days of content for my readers, and given the content of the list, I hope that you will learn a few things about me as a person and role player.  The other reason that I am attempting this challenge is because I want to improve my writing and the only way to do that is by writing more.  This challenge forces me to write every day.  The challenge that I am using was developed by Todd Rokely for his blog ChimericalRealm.  You should check out his blog!  It’s really great.

Here is the list of the 30 topics for the challenge:
Day 1-How you got started

Day 30-Best DM You’ve Had

I know that many of you are looking forward to the last three clanbook reviews:  Nosferatu, Giovanni, and Lasombra.  I will be working on the Nosferatu review, but I currently do not own the Giovanni or Lasombra clanbooks, and as you all know, I don’t pirate books to review them here.  But if anyone is feeling generous, you can donate a book by clicking on the Amazon Wish List button on the right of the page.  My plan is to review all 13 original clanbooks and then rank them from worst to best as soon as I’ve reviewed all of them.  I will also write a review of the clanbook series, not only because I enjoy writing about the clanbooks but I also hope that White Wolf/Onyx Path Publishing will read my article and listen to my suggestions if and when they produce more clanbooks.
Just because I am doing the 30 Day Challenge does not mean that is the only articles that I will be providing over the month of October.  I plan to review the TV series, Kindred the Embraced, because on October 22 a new version DVD set will be released which will include a copy of the Book of Nod.  You can expect that review before the release date.  I will also update the Player & Storyteller Resources Section of my blog with more NPCs, more player aides, and some helpful material for Werewolf the Apocalypse fans.    So some days, there will be multiple articles, I hope.
Finally, I would like to thank all of my readers for making September the most successful month so far!  Keep reading and remember to share your favorite articles on Facebook, Twitter, etc. & with your friends.  You can follow me on Twitter by clicking the follow button on the right.
Thanks again, and hopefully, 30 Days from now, I will have written 30 articles.

    1. I think it does! I'm not really too worried about the individual topics; instead, I am wondering if I can actually write for 30 days straight without missing a day. We'll see.
